It's still sad to think about Amy Winehouse's tragic passing. She had the kind of timeless voice that doesn't come around that often. Her second album, Back to Black, made her an international star and the image on the cover was that of a faintly defiant, subtly forlorn girl wearing an off-white strapless dress adorned in mini red dots and a thick, red leather belt, her feet tipped-out in dainty leopard print peep-toes. The actual dress was designed by Disaya Sorakraikitikul, a graduate of London's Central Saint Martins school, and now it can be YOURS. That's right, the dress Amy actually wore on the cover of the original U.K. album (there was a different cover for U.S. distribution) is for sale as part of a charity auction, and the estimates are jacked up to the tens of thousands. How much do you think it will sell for?

After Amy's death, Disaya donated the dress to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up by Winehouse's family that assists "vulnerable young people," so all of the proceeds will go toward this aim. The sale date is Nov. 29, and the current estimate has been placed at a minimum of around $15,000 (WOWZAS), so if you want to invest in a piece of music history or in a sensational prom dress (sure to be a talking point on and off the dance floor), mark your calendars NOW. Or, you know, ask Santa! But make sure he's available to travel to London a little early this year.
